Live Furnish’s 3D image application for furniture and furnishings reduces production costs by up to 80% and increases sales by up to 46%

Imagine if there was a 3D technology company that could take what some consider confusing, expensive, and time-consuming to create 3D images for furniture manufacturers and retailers and make it easy, fast, and profitable? What if they could do all of this while dramatically increasing product views and sales by over 50%?

You don’t have to imagine that anymore thanks to Live Furnish (, the easy-to-use 3D platform that creates absolutely stunning images. It is a US-based technology platform that has created an easy-to-use platform for manufacturers, brands, and retailers to create interactive 3D product renderings and room settings. a fraction of the cost and time charged by studio photographers and agencies. And it keeps control of the entire process in the hands of the companies themselves.

“Your product, photorealized in 3D,” is how the company and its CEO Preet Singh put it. “We can save a company 80% of costs and up to 90% of time compared to traditional product development cycles by enabling them to harness the power of 3D themselves.” Customers use Live Furnish to create 3D product renderings before moving to sample production, which is extremely important in today’s world where sustainability is more important than ever.

Live Furnish was founded in 2018 by Singh who has a strong background in technology and was frustrated buying furniture with his mother. He realized there had to be a better way, so he decided to build Live Furnish. “We were trying to solve the visualization problem and I thought to myself why wasn’t there something that would help him see what things looked like more easily. I thought 3D graphics were the solution. In its early days, Live Furnish focused more on helping retailers need to show products to shoppers, but it soon became clear that the real need – and the real market opportunity – was to have an app that manufacturers could use for product development, marketing and selling to their customers.

“We’ve seen product views increase by an average of 62% and up to 350%, resulting in an average increase in sales of 46% for items using 3D Live Furnish images.” – Justin Bowen, eCommerce Manager, The Great American Home Store

But that’s where Singh was determined to put Live Furnish’s tools in the hands of his customers. “We wanted to create a self-service platform where businesses own the entire content process, not outsource it to third-party agencies,” Singh said, said digital agencies are expensive and the process was taking a lot of time. Often, there are constant round trips of revisions, which results in companies having less control over their content.

Live Furnish is very different. Companies receive 1:1 training so they can immediately start creating 3D images on their own, without any prior knowledge of the technology. These can be based on product renderings, eliminating the need to produce actual product samples, another time-consuming and expensive process. They can place these products in the room and combine them with other products, both from their own ranges and, in the case of retailers, with goods from other suppliers. So a room decor consisting of sofa, tables, lamps, rugs, artwork and decorative accessories can use multiple lines to show buyers how they will all look together.

“We can do it all, create beautiful images, often without any physical product,” Singh said. Businesses can start creating print catalogs, marketing materials, and even selling before an actual product hits the showroom, without special equipment, digital experience, or dedicated hardware. Clients don’t need a computer science degree or graphic design background and it’s a lot easier than you might think. Costs start at $50 per 3D image.

Customers, including the Great American Home Store, love Live Furnish. “We’ve seen product views increase by an average of 62% and up to 350%, resulting in an average increase in sales of 46% for items using 3D Live Furnish images.” – Justin Bowen, eCommerce Manager, The Great American Home Store

“If you don’t have great looking images to show customers, you’ll have a hard time converting to sales,” Singh said. Since its inception, Live Furnish, which currently focuses on the home furnishing industry, has worked with over 130 companies in the furniture, home textiles and home accessories sector. He has also been a cherished investor, attracting over $7 million in venture capital funding so far.

“We see ourselves as a 3D technology provider, saving time, money and enabling businesses to be more agile by bringing this technology in-house,” Singh said, adding, “It’s so important versus to the use of an external agency. We allow companies to do it themselves, quickly, easily and at a lower cost.
